Certificate Program

A Path to Personal Enrichment

The Global Health and Health Policy (GHP) certificate brings together students and renowned faculty from across departments to put global health under an interdisciplinary lens. Uniting those passionate about global health in a close-knit campus community, it blends coursework and hands-on experience to bring health policy issues to life.

New Prerequisites for 2020

GHP has added additional courses that can count as a certificate prerequisite!  In addition to the previous biological science courses, the following courses now may serve as a "Foundations" prerequisite:

URB 201: Introduction to Urban Studies

SOC 217: Inequality, Health and Health Care Systems

ANT 240: Medical Anthropology

ENV 200: Environmental Nexus

The GHP certificate application for sophomores will open in the Spring 2020 semester.
